divider

Delta Method Hypothesis (since 2007):

Reuse the knowledge of learner’s 1st language (e.g. English)

to learn a 2nd language (e.g. Chinese)”

Validated by Neuroscience Community (2016):

On June 29th, 2016, the renowned neuroscience research group in Germany, Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, published their study in the 'Journal of Neuroscience' with this conclusion:

“For the first time, researchers have shown that it helps the brain if it can

reuse characteristics of our mother tongue when learning a new language.”
